SPUD NOTES: The distinguished economist Walter William in his column today labels the phony GOP'ers as "socialists." (We've successfully branded these posers as RINO's i.e., Republicans In Name Only.)It is shameful and hurtful that these RINOs/socialists have made vast inroads into former party that fought for decades for strong individual liberties.
(Aside: Boost your vocabulary by using the classical term "statism or statist" for the more common word "socialists.")
Today's GOP at both the national and state level are nothing more than an ideological shell used by the RINO/socialists (read, statists) to fool constituents into thinking they are traditional conservatives.
Remember, Just Say NO to RINOs.

Good post. My problem with socialism is that the socialist feels the need to enforce "equality". But as the short story Harrison Bergeron shows, equality is less important than liberty.
Call them what you will they all want to steal our money.
