Idaho's Top 50 Conservative List for 2006

Top 50 Idaho Conservatives for 2006

This list represents Idaho’s “conservatives’ conservatives.” The previous list generated in 2003 was the work of many individuals and went through numerous steps. It was, however, obvious from the first round of nominations in 2003 who was going to make the Top 50 Idaho Conservative list.

The running comment in 2003 was, “Can you actually find 50 true conservatives in Idaho?” Well, we did with more to boot. We had over 100 nominations.

For 2006, nominees must have actively participated in promoting the conservative agenda in Idaho since 2003.

The Idaho Top 50 Conservative List reflects the notable saying that “Ideas have Consequences.” There are people who have worked diligently promoting the conservative ideas of less government, lower taxes, and the proper role of government by protecting our individual freedoms and our property rights. On the consequences side, a number of prominent elected officials made the list who have a clear record of defending the conservative principles while attempting to implement these ideas through various legislative actions.
